Desktop & Laptop
Any computer from 2016 onward handles sessions without issue. Older machines may struggle with simultaneous video and document sharing.
Live meal planning sessions on Zavanoni involve real-time video, shared documents, and interactive tools. A decent connection and a reasonably modern device are all it takes - no special hardware required.
All requirements reflect live group sessions with video and shared planning tools active simultaneously.

Group sessions work well on tablets with a screen of 9 inches or larger. Phones are supported but better suited to individual lessons.
Keep your browser updated - most issues we see in sessions come from browsers that haven't been refreshed in months.
5 Mbps download handles standard video quality. Group sessions with screen sharing benefit noticeably from 15 Mbps or above.
Participation in live sessions requires a working microphone. Camera is optional but instructors find it easier to give feedback when they can see you.
You'll need to allow camera, microphone, and notification permissions when prompted. Blocking these prevents the session from loading correctly.
Shared meal plan documents, ingredient calculators, and annotation tools all depend on a stable connection. A dropped packet here and there won't break anything, but sustained instability causes edits to lag or fail to sync.
Browsers confirmed to work without plugin installation:
Open your browser settings and confirm you're on a version released after January 2023.
Use your OS sound settings or a browser-based mic test. Instructors can't adjust your input level during a session, so confirm it registers before joining.
Any public speed test tool works. You're looking for at least 5 Mbps download and a ping below 80ms for a stable session experience.
Navigate to zavanoni.world and allow camera and microphone access when the browser prompts you. Doing this in advance avoids the awkward 30-second delay at session start while the permission dialog sits waiting. Notifications can be allowed or blocked - they're used only for session reminders.
